The NaSHEC
The National STEM Higher Education Committee (NaSHEC) is an initiative by the All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) to bring together Vice Chancellors, Directors, Deans, and academic leaders from higher education institutions across India.
NaSHEC serves as a national platform to strengthen the STEM ecosystem, encourage innovation-driven education, and advocate policy reforms that align higher education with the needs of Industry 4.0 and future technologies.
Through collaborative leadership, NaSHEC will shape strategies, foster academia-industry partnerships, and provide direction to empower students, educators, and institutions in the STEM domain.
OBJECTIVES
The National STEM Higher Education Committee (NaSHEC) shall act as the apex advisory, advocacy, and action-oriented platform to strengthen STEM education, research, and innovation across universities and higher education institutions in India. Its objectives are:
