The NaSPAC

The National STEM Principal Advisory Committee (NaSPAC) is a nationwide platform of school leaders, education administrators, and thought partners committed to transforming K-12 STEM learning in India. NASPAC equips principals and school leadership teams with the vision, guidance, resources and networks required to build future-ready schools that nurture innovation, ethics and technological fluency.

The rapid pace of change in STEM - from Artificial Intelligence and Robotics to Biotechnology, Space Science and Renewable Energy demands bold leadership at the school level. NaSPAC was established to empower principals and school decision-makers to steer curriculum innovation, teacher capacity building, industry partnerships and inclusive access to cutting-edge STEM learning. NaSPAC works closely with education departments, regulatory bodies, industry and higher-education partners to translate national education goals into practical, scalable action at the school level.

Key Functions & Activities

  • Convene regular Principal Forums and regional roundtables to share best practices and co-create solutions.
  • Run national and state-level leadership academies for principals and STEM coordinators.
  • Publish actionable toolkits, curriculum units, assessment rubrics and teacher training modules.
  • Manage a national repository of school case studies, lab designs and low-cost STEM solutions.
  • Coordinate national STEM festivals, competitions, hackathons and innovation showcases for students.
  • Facilitate resource mobilisation - grants, CSR partnerships and technology donations - for underserved schools.
